Tom ANGSTADT | MANAGING DIRECTOR
Tom has over 36 years in community banking experience, including 34+ years as a regulator with the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, the Office of Thrift Supervision and the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). During his time as a regulator, Tom was an examiner for 12 years, and a manager for 22 years. He spent his entire career in the Northeast, where he examined and supervised banks in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. Tom retired from the OCC in 2022, where he spent his last 11 years as an Assistant Deputy Comptroller out of the agency’s New York and Philadelphia offices. In addition to his supervisory responsibilities, Tom was a Risk Governance instructor for eight years, which is part of the OCC’s Community Bank Director and Management Workshop program. Tom earned a BS degree in Economics from Rutgers University in 1986.
